  • 1/3 cup white chocolate (for decorating)

  • 12 candy or DIY chocolate eyes

How To Make Halloween Brownies

1- Preheat & Prep
Preheat your oven to 325°F. Line a 9×9″ pan with foil, leaving some overhang for easy lifting.

2- Melt Chocolate & Butter

Melt the butter and broken dark chocolate in the microwave on low or pulse mode. Stir until glossy and smooth. Mix in the salt and baking powder.

3- Add Sugar & Eggs

Stir in sugar until fully dissolved. Add eggs and whisk until light and fluffy.

4- Mix Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk flour and cocoa together. Add dry mix to the wet ingredients and stir with a spatula until thick and glossy.

5- Bake & Cool

Pour into your pan and bake 30–35 minutes until a skewer comes out mostly clean. Let cool completely before decorating.

How To Decorate Halloween Brownies

  • Melt white chocolate and add orange food coloring.

  • Use a piping bag or spoon to add swirls, “Halloween scars,” or zig-zags across the brownies.

  • Add candy eyes while chocolate is still soft so they stick.

  • Finish with Halloween sprinkles for extra texture.

Let the design set before slicing into squares.

Tips For Halloween Baking With Kids

  • Let them add the candy eyes and sprinkles — it’s their favorite part!

  • Bake the brownies ahead and decorate closer to party time for less mess.
