Recipe Facts
- Makes: 3
- Prep Time: 20 Minutes
Ingredients
-
6 heirloom cherry tomatoes
-
3 queen green olives
-
3 black kalamata olives
-
6 slices peppered salami
- 15 fresh mozzarella pearls
Instructions
1- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
2- Grab a witch hat and cauldron silicone mold like this one from Joann and press two mozzarella pearls into each hat mold and three into each cauldron.
3- Place the silicone mold on a baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes until the cheese begins to melt slightly.
4- Remove from the oven and gently press the melted cheese down using the back of a small spoon. Drain any excess liquid and place the mold in the fridge to chill for 10 minutes.
5- While it chills, prep your skewers. Thread heirloom cherry tomatoes onto bamboo sticks like these from Hobby Lobby.
6- Do the same with the olives and folded salami slices.
7- Once the cheese shapes are firm, remove them from the mold and skewer them too.
8- Stick all your skewers into the cauldrons like bubbling potion ingredients. Keep chilled until ready to serve.
These mini charcuterie cauldrons look magical on a Halloween grazing table next to themed dips, spooky treats, and colorful cocktails.
They’re a savory break from all the sweets and perfect for anyone craving a little protein and texture in the middle of all the candy chaos.
