  • 12 muenster cheese slices
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup grape jelly
  • 1 cup chopped scallions
  • 1 cup bread and butter pickles

Step-by-step Guide:

1 – Put meatballs on a sheet of aluminum foil on a baking sheet.

2 – Bake the meatballs according to instructions.

3 – Take the meatballs out of the oven and sit them to the side.

5 – Put the pan on the stove over medium high heat.

8 – Make sure all the meatballs are completely covered and let them simmer for about 3 mins.

9 – Remove the pan from the heat.

13 – Place the baking dish in the oven on 350 for 3-5 minutes to melt the cheese.

14 – Once the pan is out of the oven sprinkle the scallions and pickles randomly on the cheese covered meatballs.

15 – Place the top half of the buns on top of the cheese covered meatballs.

16 – Use a knife to separate the sliders or clean hands pull them apart.

17 – Serve while hot and enjoy!

Pro Tips for Success:

  • Use mini brioche buns for an extra touch of buttery flavor and fancy feel without extra work.

  • Add a dash of hot sauce to the BBQ and jelly mix if your crowd loves a little heat.

  • Swap in turkey or veggie meatballs if you’re serving guests with dietary needs or lighter preferences.

  • Toast the buns lightly before assembling for sliders that don’t get soggy on the bottom.

  • Try different cheeses like provolone or pepper jack for a fun flavor twist!
